I would recommend Blantons and i would recommend their service plan if you aren't already routinely maintaining your home. We opted in for the Blantons WOW membership after several hefty repairs proved that HVAC systems in North Carolina require special and constant care. The membership is fairly priced if you use it. The service covers AC, heat, electrical and plumbing general/routine maintenance and a lot of extra incidentals that could lead to costly repairs.

Another reason for a 5 star and a recommendation is that Blantons will make things right with you if you are left uneasy or if a service isn't done well. Today we had a scheduled appointment for our WOW member maintenance on HVAC (you do have to schedule hvac, plumbing, electrical separate but they are all covered). The tech came out and didnt complete the assigned task, instead he told us we had several things that needed replaced/cleaned and provided a 2500 estimate to replace a control board or to clean a blower motor...and left it at that. We called and explained the situation, and within a couple hours we had a senior tech back at the house to complete the maintenance that was scheduled. Chase was his name and he saved the day, and saved a 5 star review. After completing the job, he also found the control board wasn't defective, rather just not set up correctly and actually found a way to save us some money on the electric bill.

All that being said, there was no fuss, no arguing, they just made it right and got us taken care of...and for that reason we will continue to use them and recommend them. Every other experience before today has been exemplary with them, and we're sad to hear Terry is no longer with the company, but guys like Chase still know how to provide great customer service!

I have been depending on Blanton's service for about a year and half now and I always come away feeling that they are doing the best for my equipment while keeping in mind that I don't have unlimited funds. Their technicians are very polite, knowledgeable and respectful.

This review addresses the superb service we enjoyed today (8/25/26), courtesy of two thoroughly professional Blanton’s HVAC techs, Mr. Joe Ford and Mr. Ryan Johnson. As “WOW” customers, we receive free HVAC check-ups twice yearly…prior to winter and summer, among other benefits. As long-time customers, we should be accustomed to gracious, knowledgeable techs (and scheduling folks); but we never tire of being treated like royalty…and, given what passes for service elsewhere these days, that’s not much of an exaggeration.
Mr. Ford and Mr. Johnson arrived precisely on time, of course, introduced themselves, asked if we’d been experiencing any problems (we haven’t), and set to work.
I always learn something hanging around Blanton’s field techs, and today was no different. We had some questions about our high-speed, low-drag 😎, 21st century thermostat and remote sensor. Over the next 90 minutes, our guests used easily-understandable English to explain away our confusion WHILE they were performing their detailed inspections and testing. Thank you, men! We look forward to our Spring check-up!
