• Level 3 chargers (or type 3 chargers) are the most powerful EV chargers available. These styles of chargers can output anywhere from 300 to 600 volts and 120 to 240 kW. These chargers are the fastest way to charge an EV, providing 120 miles of vehicle charge in as little as 30 minutes.

Typical household plugs are considered level 1 chargers. Most public EV charging stations are level 2 chargers. The fastest and most powerful option is a level three charger. No matter the type of EV you may own, it’s important to know how long it will take to charge your vehicle.
